What we Believe

St. Thomas is a traditional Anglo-Catholic Church. We continue in the "faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3), passed down from the Apostles and expressed by the English Church, and its American expression, throughout the centuries.

  • Our authorities are the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the Tradition of the undivided Church, the Seven Ecumenical Councils, and the Creeds that were formed during that time.
  • Our worship and liturgical expression is from the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, the American Missal, and the 1940 Hymnal.
  • We practice all of the Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Absolution, Holy Matrimony, Holy Orders, and Unction of the Sick.
  • If you really want to know what we believe, and how it all fits together, we invite you to come and see!
